Burnt Toffee

My first attempt at Donna's Butter Toffee was a complete failure. It went well until I was supposed to take it off the heat. I misjudged when to take it off and it burned. I got it off the heat because I knew that it was ruined. Then for some reason that is beyond me, Mom poured the burnt toffee into a tupperwarre and it overflowed and burned her , Mom spilled it and poured the part that hadn't spilled into another tupperware.This time it didn't overflow. I'm going to try again when I have more butter.
